Four Generations of Family Leadership
More than 90 years of building infrastructure across Minnesota and the Dakotas.
The Nodland family has been involved in construction since the early 1930s, beginning in Starbuck, Minnesota. What started as a small operation producing and installing concrete tile for agricultural drainage soon evolved into something much larger.
As west central Minnesota communities grew, so did the demand for sewer and water infrastructure. Henry Nodland Sr. and Henry Nodland Jr., a returning U.S. Army Air Corps officer, expanded the company’s services and relocated to Alexandria — where our corporate office remains today.
From small towns to expanding cities, Nodland Construction played a key role in building essential municipal infrastructure across Minnesota and the Dakotas.
